The good: excellent service, reasonable prices in the restaurant, cleanliness, good size rooms.
The bad: very bad soundproofing between rooms, highway robbery to get wifi. The hotel had great size rooms, very clean, but with bad soundproofing. The rooms are layered out at an angle with entrances staggered. That architecture decision, placed one room's bathroom facilities a non-soundproofed wall away from the next room's bed area. Every toilet flush or shower in the room next to us was loud enough to wake the dead.
The worse part for us was the outrageous price for wifi. They charge the equivalent of $9 for one hour, with no availability to get a reduced rate if you purchase multiple wifi hours. I understand that for the most part, the higher end the hotel, the more likely that you'll have to pay for wifi (which has never made sense to me), this was still extreme. The rooms had wired Internet for free. But more and more travelers are leaving their laptops home and traveling with iPads or other tablets, which cannot connect any other way than wifi.
The wifi price left a bitter taste with an otherwise good stay.
