We stayed here for 2 nights and hated every moment of it! From the grayish towels to the strange smelling bathroom, to the grubby looking furniture, everything felt dirty.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is about a 20 minute drive from the centre of Varanasi.
It is a large hotel and the lobby and public areas are all maintained very well apart from the ladies public toilets were quite disgusting, we did inform the reception staff but no one did anything about it.
The rooms are comfortable, a little tired with hot water being a bit of a hit and miss, but nice enough.
The food was nice, with plenty of choice. All the staff were very eager to please and very helpful.
The pool area was nice, but there was a building site in the area with a whoe family living and working there. This was interesting to see, and the ladies and children were very interested in us :)
There is a wedding venue behind the hotel, it had weddings both nights we were there and the noise went on late into the night so we didn't sleep too well! But it was interesting to watch the weddings out of the window.

The room was very comfortable, clean and well-equipped. The restaurant staff were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent, especially the local "dosa" and "uttapam". They hotel staff were accommodating and the overall service was pretty good. The room wasn't set up for 3 people, but they took care of this efficiently. If we asked for something, we got it, rather quickly.

We stopped here for breakfast and lunch as part of the Buddhist train tour. We were ripped off by the waiter over mineral water, and he caused an argument for charging us when we told him that he should have told us beforehand.
