The hotel has a central location but that is about all it has going for it. Went with a group and found most rooms did not having functioning toilets and none had toilet paper. Mold was found on the walls as well as unchanged and dirty sheets on the bed. Upon moving the room service menu there was a layer of dirt around it. The dining room was also unclean with filthy linens on the table and unclean silverware. AC also did not work though the fan was more than sufficient for travel in November. The carpet was so stained in my room that I didn't put anything on the floor and always wore shoes.

Tiny dark rooms, sporadic AC, all bathrooms share same ventilation tunnel si room five can her what is going on in room 15 and room 1 --yeugh. No soap no towels no toilet paper. For our group of 15 not once did they get our orders or our bill correct. Waiter was sneezing over food.

Staff lethargic and lazy.

it was ok for india. just the furniture was very old, the lamp in our room broken and the air con with ice. overall it was ok for an hotel in varanasi. the service in the restaurant took ages, the food was good tough. there was hot water in the shower and the tv did not have any channel that came clear. a good point is the internet shop next to the hotel. even tough the electricity broke in the i-net shop several times it was a relief to check our emails during the india trip.

Good bargain for the price paid. Read the reviews here and was quiet worried as we had already booked the rooms and paid for it. We thought ok no choice let us see how it goes. I traveled with my mom and 2 aunts aged 55 to 65. Only 4 ladies who were enthusiastic about kashi vishwanath darshan. Mummys life time dream. The hotel was good, rooms were really clean. People in the reception were very helpful. I was totally happy with the service and cleanliness (bathrooms can be kept more clean) but no complaints the room was 100% clean than what we expected after reading the reviews here. Will definitely go back. Varanasi is an amazing spiritual place. Location of hotel, food everything was totally GREAT.
