The best part is the central location. The biulding, rooms and staff are ageing- must have been ok in 1970s when built and staff hired but do not match other contemporary hotels and staff courtesy and efficiency. Food taste is good but menu and buffet are less than satisfactory. Average rating at best!

As the title suggests, Clarks Avadh surprises you with its 'public sector' like attitude... both in terms of infrastructure and attitude of staff. Worn out exteriors and interiors, lobby requiring renovation, the maharajah-like staff, both in dress sense and attitude... its amazing that it continues to do business after not having changed in the last 20 years, that I remember.,,
The disappointment is consistently maintained through the buffet breakfast in terms of choice and quality, wifi service, etc. Watch out when you check out... give yourself a 10 min buffer esp if you are in a hurry. The room service quality delights you by being average...
And during this time, I would have been there half a dozen times, simply because of lack of options which are just as centrally and strategically located, whether you are in lucknow for business or pleasure.

i have stayed there twice and found that the hotel is quite good in hospitality and service. The rooms are not upto the mark but other than that is quite good.It has great location new the city market. Airport is little far but railway station is close by. Food is awesome and the resturant on the top floor brings the felling of being a king. :)

The good bits are - lots of parking space, huge halls and lots of rooms. The ok bits - the rooms, the food and the service. The bad - this place really is overdue for a makeover.

The interiors look jaded and tired. It is located at the junction of a couple of major roads so noise from the traffic can be an issue. The benefit is that Hazaratganj, Aminabad and Chowk are all easily accessible from this place.

The hotel has nice views all around and a room on a higher floors gives one a good view of the city. The area around Hazaratganj is a good place for a stroll in the evening.
