Its amazing resort Mate quite unlike we see down here in Canada or Europe.A different 5 star.Sprawling over 25 acres, a perfect blend of contemporary and Mughal architecture Jaypee Hotel Convention Centre is a great place to stay.Spicy Indian curry & Cows on road are waiting to greet you..HAHA

Our tour operator was antilogvacations.com which are quite known in arranging Delhi-Agra-Jaipur tours.I preferred Indian travel agent to save bucks.They have good value in terms of rates & their arrangements were very well thru out the tour.All our hotel , meals , travel were arranged by them

I was greeted by extremely warm and courteous staff. Well maintained green lawns add to the serene, quaint and tranquil settings. It took 10 minutes to reach from airport to hotel

I was staying in the Deluxe suite, well equipped with all the modern amenities. 50 by 50 ft rooms, well furnished with teak wood furniture and porcelain high walls, adorned with beautiful paintings and grand French windows add to the aesthetics and architecture of the place. Each room has attached balconies that provide a panoramic view of the sprawling gardens.

Resort provides a wonderful dining experience for gourmets, as chefs from all over the world offer some of the best receipies. In ground fiberglass well – lit meandering pools, provide a great ambience for socializing. Major attraction of the trip is the buffet at the grand dinning hall. Hotel has varied dinning halls, offering Mughal, Oriental and Chinese receipies

I had an opportunity to go for local sight seeing. We started our journey by visiting Taj Mahal, the symbol of eternal love, story laid out in white marble. Tiny, quaint shoppes in the alley, offer wide varieties of artefacts and handicrafts. then shopped for some best quality leather bags, clothes and fabrics from Sadar Bazaar.

Resort is located in close proximity to the Patna Bird Sanctuary and provides great retreat for orthinologists and bird lovers. Famous Modern Art gallery is at approximate distance from the Hotel. really enjoyed shopping for some of the best paintings and artefacts. If somebody is looking for the marble and engraved interiors and artefacts Hotel provide great avenues for shopping in near by vicinity.

. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Jaypee Convention. Memorabilia that collected from Grand City of Agra, still reminisces me of some of the golden moments that I had spent at Hotel Jaypee Convention, Agra.

Only stayed one night, visiting the Taj Mahal. We ate in the Indian restaurant which was excellent, with very attantive staff who helped my wife (who is not keen on spicy food) choose Indian food that was to her taste. The rooms were good and clean although there was some noise in the night from other residents in the hotel.

We stayed at Jaypee in 2006 for 1 night. The room was good, the location excellent. It is a regular 5-star with all amenities. The only downside was that the buffet breakfast was nowhere near international hotels of same standard. Not much variety and the quality was not up to mark.

Apart from that, it was great in all other aspects.

Situated only a mere five minutes by car from the Taj Mahal and in splendid grounds of its own, this great sprawling hotel with miles of beautiful corridors was quite outstanding.

Our garden facing twin bedded room was bright, spacious and very well furnished. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable and the bathroom well equipped with big fluffy towels and good toiletries.

Check-in and check-out were slick and staff very friendly. Buffet breakfasts were excellent and the hotel boasts three fine restaurants, two of which we sampled for dinner. Food in the Chinese restaurant was particularly good and we also enjoyed a very fine buffet dinner.

Not cheap, but certainly reasonably priced and a hotel to which we shall gladly return.
