We stayed at the Trident Agra for 2 nights on 4 & 5 Feb 2012 as part of a tour of Northern India. The welcome was friendly and the reception area was clean and furnished in a contemporary style. The reception staff always had a smile and provided good service when checking out and changing money.
After a long walk down a long corridor we arrived at our room which had a strange smell that we eventually put down to the mosquito plug-in by the bed.
The food was of a high standard, although a little pricey. The chef was keen to explain the dishes and the waiters were always on hand to serve you.
The pool was clean although a bit cold (it took six lengths to get warm!) and there was a changing room with shower.
There is a good bookshop in the hotel, selling a good selection of books about India as well as novels.
Overall the hotel met our expectations with excellent food and service.

The service was very good! The food was excellent. Prices were towards the expensive side! The first room we went to had a terrible stench and we had to change rooms, but building work was taking place. Rooms were clean, and service was excellent! The hotels is quite near the Taj Mahal and Fortress. Would stay here again in the future.

If you ever think of coming to Agra to treat your eyes to the Taj Mahal, you should also think about coming here to pamper the rest of your body. The Trident hotel in Agra is al about excellent service. The staff obvioulsy like their jobs and do everything to make you feel at home. We had the best house keeping service ever with an aesthetic eye to detail. Another amazing experience was at dinner. The chefs were amazingly friendly and interacted with the guests. Thumbs up for the hotel and their staff!!

After staying in budget accommodation around Rajasthan and Delhi plus the odd overnight train we needed a treat. This was perfect and just what was required. Very clean rooms, very polite staff and some proper western food after a month of curry! The goats cheese salad is divine and the staff could not be more helpful. Could not recommend this place more highly.
