This hotel is near the railway station and the first hotel that the cab driver took us too. The look of the room was alright with a big double bed and the bathroom also looked okay. My daughter insisted we stay there because she saw the tub and I agreed as she was quite tired from the journey. when checking the bathroom, the water pressure was hardly there and water was barely falling out from the shower. I complained to the manager and got the room switched after lot of talking and trying with their staff to fix the shower. We shifted to a similar room on the same floor, but again the same thing in that room. Anyway we decided to just manage with it. We did not have much food in the hotel as we were out quite a bit, but had the breakfast there. We could hardly bite the bread or toast that was given as it was so hard. The menu is extensive and costly, but the food is jut not worth it. If you are planning on staying here, get the food from outside. The main problem was that I had intimated the manager well ahead of time that I will be checking out early in the morning and will clear the bill using my card, and told him that I will clear off the bills at the night as we were leaving early next morning for Jaipur by train. He insisted that it was hotel policy to clear the bill at the time we checked out and i agreed to it. However, early in the morning when we went to check out, he said the telephone lines are done and he cannot take the card. I had to go around searching for an ATM at around 4 in the morning and was about to miss the train because of this. This hotel may look good, but as always stated, looks are deceiving. This hotel has hardly any standard for itself. Stay here only if you have no other option. There are lots of places which are cheaper and provide you better service.
