I must admit with Agra's reputation for poor hotels and the rather shabby look of the hotel from the outside I wasn't really expecting much . Don't be deceived .The rooms are actualy very good ,very clean and it would have been quiet too if other guests children weren't running around the corridors half the night (not the hotels fault) The shower was hot and didn't flood the bathroom and the reastaurant was OK .They didn't charge us for one of our meals as we specified no spice but it turned out too hot .We thought that was considerate .

This hotel is precisely what you need in a travel, great location (within 2 kms of Taj), good enough restra, very nice and comfy beds and the best thing, neat and clean toilets.
Rooms are quiet and spacious, honestly speaking it is more of a luxury hotel in budget prices.
We travelled with a large group, kids, elderly and teenagers, and everybody was quiet happy with the place.
There is nothing for kids to do actually, just a lawn at the back where they can run around. Kids in our group didn't complain though :)
Definitely worth staying!!

Hotel Kant is interestingly located bang opposite the Mughal Sheraton in Agra,... But manages to offer a damn decent luxury experience at probably one tenth the price of the latter!

The Hotel is relatively new and hence well maintained, done up with classy taste, all applicances working well, Staff is helpful and friendly etc!

The food options (in hotel dining) are nothing extraordinarlity different but the food quality was good. However there are several restaurants located at walking distance from the hotel that were well recommended by our guide in Agra.

The distance from the hotel to the Taj is also short .. about 2 Kms... and hence it becomes easier to visit the Taj several times during the trip! However do bear in mind the traffic in Agra... it can take upto half hour at times to cross those 2 odd kms!

Overall a nice experience.

Nice hotel which was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. The room was clean with a mini bar in the room, non alcoholic. There was room service too. They did the best American breakfast. I would stay here again.
