i recently stayed in this hotel , it was difficult finding the location from a all night journey , it was glad that at 4.30 in the morning i was chequed in within 5 min,without many formalities stuff.guys in the desk were helpful ,needs improvement in quality of food and beverages, expected a perfect ambient spa as they were mentioning but disappointed .not much of space to roam inside the hotel neatly maintained but full of heads only ,yeah overcrowded,,,,cost effective/pleasant place to stay .,if u don't bother about activities....

Stayed here as part of a small group (18 people) tour. Swish looking from the outside, rooms a bit faded, but clean and well-equipped. Ooty is quite high, so beware of altitude sickness – it caught me unawares. My wife says the evening buffet was the best so far on this 14-day trip. Breakfast was OK. Sleep quality was good and apart from the call to prayer at 5 am, very peaceful. Hotel only a 10 minute walk to town centre (but uphill on return!)

We stayed at this hotel while on tour, so can’t comment on the price/value. Our room was very nice, quite large with everything we needed to be comfortable. There were coffee/tea-making facilities in the room and a complementary bottle of water. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel is away from traffic and our room was also on the backside of the hotel, so it was very quiet. Only problem was we couldn’t get the wi-fi to work, despite a lot of help from the staff. We had the dinner buffet at the hotel and the food was good, although a little pricy, but then again, there was lots of food, including dessert. Service at dinner and throughout our stay was excellent. It was cold when we were there and they promptly brought a heater when we requested one. Breakfast was fine, with a variety of dishes.

We stayed here in Dec 2011. It was very quiet as there were only about 6 guests in the hotel. This is one of the better choices in Ooty. The only criticism is that it was very cold there and they could have used more heat in the restaurant.

Staff were friendly and very helpful. they set up an extra heater in our room for us as it was so chilly. Food in the restaurant was pretty good.

Overall, I would stay there again.
