I booked my travel arrangements with Makemytrip.com and they advised me to stay at Hotel Sarkar Palace, which was a good deal. Hotel staff was quite friendly and room service was quick.
I liked hotel room but did not got chance to see use much hotel amenities as it was only one day trip only. Hotel did not had any restaurent, swimming pool and even hot was also not sufficient.
I expected a better view from hotel while visiting to place like Ooty but room I got did not had any view.
Hotel is located very close to market area. So we enjoyed little shopping in the evening.
I would recommend it a below average hotel if you are planning to stay longer and spend some leisure time.

“OSUM PLACE TO STAY***”
We stayed here for more than 4 days.This hotel is actually at the centre of ooty which was an advantage for us to travel all around ooty.
The hotel provides us wit the best services.It is actually a developing hotel which is going to be the best in a very few years.You will enjoy the excellent services by the staffs.the rooms are also clean and tidy.The rooms are very well furnished and provides us with clean and neat beds.Another advantage is that there is a automatic perfumer in the room which makes yhe room smell good always.
Coming to the cost....it is cheap compared to the other hotels which has less services as
to this hotel.So if you hav chances to visit ooty you can undoubtedly stay in HOTEL SARKAR PALACE...

“really a good experience”
it was indeed a good experience staying in their grand suite. The view was great from the grand suite. A hill top can be seen from hotel window with all the lights on it. The only problem is there is no restaurant in the hotel, though they bring food from another restaurant outside as and when ordered.
