The hospitality offered by The Familyis beyond comparison. We were lucky to be invited to share Diwali with the whole family and I cannot overstate just how friendly and warm the WHOLE family were. Renu even bought us a present of Indian clothes for Diwali so we could look the part . We were extremely honoured to be invited and toattally included in their Diwali celebrations

We will never forget our stay at Aakriti, this was the best part of our travel in India.

The hospitality of the whole family and the warmth of our welcome made us feel at ease immediately. We had very interesting discussions about all kind of topics, we laughed a lot and Renu’s food is just delicious. Our room was wonderful, very originally built and decorated, amongst a nice tee plantation. We felt like at home even though we were so far away.

We can only recommend Aakriti, this is not only a stay but a real enriching experience. This is the perfect place for open-minded and active persons, who want to learn about India and its culture.

During our two weeks trip trough the south of india, we stayed for two days at Aakriti. We have been welcomed very warm and had a great time there. The whole Family at Aakriti made every effort to give us an impression of the culture, the food and the people of this part of india. They showed us how to eat indian style, how people make their shopping on the colorful market and how they grow tea in this region. We had even a tea tasting session, took a stroll through the plantation. We had also two trips with the famous railway. Thanks to the family at Aakriti we took great experiences back home and we always think very fondly back and smile when we remember our adventures in india. We stayed at Aakriti for 6 nights, and would happily move in permanently! The Nilgiris are a beautiful area of India anyway, but the family made this stay extra special. Their warm and hospitality and the good humour and fun we had made our stay a truly memorable experience. Cookery lessons were a joy with Renu - and the family went out of their way to take us to particular places and areas we wished to see even though this had not been on our original itinerary. The time we spent at Aakriti made this recent trip to India really special.
