“Great service and location”

This resort is probably the closest to the park gates as we were the last people picked up and the first dropped off for each Tiger safari. It is set back from the road and surrounded by fields. It is away from the bustle of the local town so it was very quiet. The grounds are reasonably large and when not on safari we enjoyed relaxing and watching birds. We were also entertained by a family with children as they were playing cricket on the lawn.

Our room was in a duplex style building and it was dated but comfortable. It was chilly but the staff put a small portable heater in the room. Meals were simple but quite good. In India most places seem to have a breakfast dish made from pounded rice and we liked it very much.

The staff were very helpful and always quick to follow up on questions. The morning safaris were chilly and damp and they made sure we had blankets to stay warm. We went on three safaris and didn't see any tigers but we enjoyed seeing all the other wildlife.

“Amazing Hotel and Truly Attentive staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 January 2012

We, a group of 10 friends, checked in at Hotel Tiger Den Ranthambore on the 13th January 2012. Right from the check-in until our checkout on the 15th early, every single service promised was delivered, on time and with a smile. The resort manager Patrick, who has a rather non- chalant demanour covering a truly professional and attitude, was simply amazing. He had answers to all our questions. The food quality was very good and the F&b staff very efficient. The rooms were clean and well maintained, although I felt that a little more attention may be required to heating in the rooms. The transfers and the safaris worked seamlessly. We had booked a bar-be-que on both the nights. This was arranged in the open lawn with a bon-fire. In all, we had a great experience, and would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Ranthambore

“Not a great hotel but not too bad.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 January 2012

The room was fairly basic but reasonably comfortable -- slept well. The grounds are pretty and well maintained. The food was OK but unremarkable, and we had dinner close to the toilet next to the kitchen -- not very pleasant. Only had time for one game drive which was fun but saw no tigers unfortunately, though we did see game, some peacocks, water snakes, crocodiles and a beautiful kingfisher. The hotel is better than nothing and we were lucky to get accommodation anywhere at Ranthambhore at short notice (we got there on New Year's Day), but definitely not the best we experienced in Rajasthan!

“Excellent stay”

The rooms were spacious and well kept. The lawn and the pool adds to the attraction. Food was the high point of our stay. Specially the non vegetarian dishes cooked by the chef from Bihar. We loved the Indian style mutton curry. Very close to the gate to the national park. So it helps. You should take the Tonkin road to lalsot route if traveling by road from Jaipur. Excellent roads barring few kilometers. OverAll highly reccomended.
