an amazing hotel which scores big in my books on a lot of fronts.it can be seen from the main road where all the other hotels are but is removed from the main road giving it an air of exclusivity.the entrance and building facade is also very imposing and one was surprised to know that it is not actually a heritage structure but made only 7 years ago.they have done an excellent job of giving it the palace look.there's a lot of space everywhere, with huge courtyards and they've also done a great job with the dining room, bar area, television room and lounge and swimming pool.
the rooms are also quite spacious and mine had a huge terrace with a great view on the third floor.a television in the room was not really missed though i guess they can think of adding fridges in the rooms later possibly with mini bar facilities.the bathrooms were also a mix of heritage and modern facilities.
but the one thing that stood out the most for me was the service and attention to detail.the staff were extremely helpful starting from the GM and it indeed added to the warmth of the place.food was great and one tends to over indulge a bit because of it.
even without the thought of coming here for the safaris, one would come here just to spend a couple of relaxing days at this hotel.
and i did let the GM know that the website didn't do their establishment justice and he laughed it off saying they were glad they could exceed people's expectations every time.highly recommended.
Room Tip: take a room on the third floor, great views from the terrace
