Hotel Grand Central is really at the centre of the city Bhubaneswar. This is very convenient for the tourists who come to Orissa for business, tourism and other purposes as well. This is on one side of the Railway station of Bhubaneswar. The Hotel is adjacent to plat form number 4. Not only that, it is affordable to the people also. The feature of the hotel is strikingly different from other hotels in the area. The floors are very neat and clean. The service of all the staff members is very good, ranging from stewards to house -keeping, front office to the chef and even the cooks, from back office to the billing section as well.
The food and beverage is also very good here. All the staff members are cordial to the customers and helpful also. The transport service of the hotel is also very good. This is very closest to the state museum, Dhauligiri, river Daya, and tourism department office. We can find Elephant sanctuary in Chandaka. The rail coach repairing factory also we can find in Mancheswar. The famous Lingaraj temple is also located in old Bhubaneswar which around 9 K.ms from this hotel. The Sun temple (Konark) is approximately 40 kilometres away from here. The Satkosiaganda is also nearby the Sun temple where we can find crocodile sanctuary and dolphin sanctuary. The famous lord Jagarnath Temple is also approximately located within 5o K.ms away from this Hotel. Nearly 15 K.ms from the hotel we can find the Zoological park (The Nandankanan) which is very famous. People from the neighbouring state come to visit these places. Besides these we can see Khandagiri elephant caves, the planetarium, the institute of natural history, the institute of Physics, the famous institute the IISC, the IIT, the regional research laboratory. Approximately 25 K.ms from Bhubaneswar we can find the Cuttack city where river Mahanadi spread across which is the biggest river in Odisha. In Cuttack we can find the Barabati fort and stadium. However, this city has its unique feature which is consider as the temple city in India.

otherwise, it was a horrible visit and hands down the worst hotel i've ever stayed in! check-in went alright, but it all went downhill from there. the room smelled awful, the floors were dirty, the bed sheets were clearly used multiple times without a wash, and bathroom sink's faucet barely dripped water, there was NO hot/warm water, and the toilet didn't flush. after 15 minutes of these spectacular findings, we called the front desk to see if we could switch rooms. instead of responding to our request, the woman at the front desk hung up the phone and refused to talk to us. since we booked the hotel online prior to traveling, we were "stuck" with our room for the remainder of our stay in bhubaneswar.

other reasons not to stay here: the complimentary breakfast was the worst food i was served during my entire trip, hands down. they also poured me a glassful of "clean water" which didn't taste clean at all. due to our difficult stay at the hotel, we decided to treat ourselves with a private car ride to puri, which was booked through the hotel. not only did the driver try to make us pay for his gas, but he also charged us the same amount travelers pay private drivers to give them an 8-hour tour in conjunction with the ride from bhubaneswar to puri.

goodTHis hotel was really good. Pick and drop facility provided by the Hotel which was good. Hotel staff was really very cooperative. I would prefer to stay again.As per the price of room services are up to that level too. Hotel staff tried their best to provide the complete satisfaction and really appreciate it.
