We stayed in the resort for one night while visiting Bhimashankar temple. This is the best place to stay in Bhimashankar. It is an awesome property spread over a huge area overlooking the valley. However, the place lacks maintenance and many of the cottages seem to be closed/ under repair. While the rooms are basic and clean, it is advisable to carry your own bed sheets, pillow covers, top sheet and towels. We carried our own, and were happy that we did!
The food was freshly cooked to order and tasted very good. Since we are vegetarians, I cannot comment on the non-veg food though. There is a fancy new restaurant under construction that should be up and running in around 6 months or so.
The place is very peaceful and the best part is that it has no TV! In fact there is absolutely nothing to do there. But the joy of sitting in the verandah and enjoying the lovely breeze is simply unmatched! So just leave all your tensions behind in the city, sit, relax and enjoy the Bhimashankar experience!
