Had stayed at pune in May, 06 2011 as had some work in pune.In simple words it was an amazing experience .The ambience , food was just great.The rooms are clean and the staff extemely friendly An amazing experience

I was quite astounding how anyone in the right mind would build a hotel right next to a railway station and wondered how bad an experience one might have staying at a hotel like this. However, I was absolutely dumbstruck by the fact that the moment you step into the Le Meridien Pune, you've arrived at a quite, crisp, professional yet comfortable surrounding.
The room was very well appointed. Spacious and luxurious. The beds were 'oh so soft' and I managed a brilliant sleep. The bathrooms were plush and had excellent amenities.
The breakfast offering is extremely good with a wide array of continental dishes.
I think its a great hotel which offers absolute value for money and the fact that its right next to the main railway station its very centrally located. As for the noise... What noise??

Service was excellent - the room service and housekeeping staff were courteous and very prompt in excecuting whatever we asked for. The rooms are neat and clean and the bathrooms are particularly spacious and well done up. Unfortunately, none of the rooms offer a great view.
We didn't eat any meals in the restaurants but were particularly impressed with the way the hotel lobby and other common areas were decorated around Christmas time. The hotel also boasts of the popular night-club, Scream - good music and a great atmosphere.

The hotel is beautiful. Everything was clean and the staff was always helpful and friendly. Had an above average massage in the spa. The food is not that great. Post cards that I sent from the hotel never got to their destinations in Australia and the United States.
