Excellent value for money hotel located in the heart of Aurangabad and enroute to the Ajanta Caves. Great location and good service. Good breakfast buffet served. Better than other hotels that i have stayed in Aurangabad

I went to Aurangabad in March and stayed in this hotel. the hotel is in the city center and is very close to a market where you can book you Volvo tickets for onwar journeys. The hotel is also close to a very good mall, also supposed to be biggest in India. The hotel was reasonably good in terms of hygiene and i enjoyed the pool here. The breakfast everyday is an unchanged menu of Idli and Sambhar etc. which i did not enjoy since i like spicy food and it was not spicy at all. Aurangabad is agreat city otherwise and one can see Ellora and Ajanta caves, daultabad fort etc..

Stayed over at Hotel Windsor Castle for 3 nights - 7th to 10th Nov 2011. The property has been renovated recently. The rooms are neat & clean. The striking feature is that the Rooms are spacious. The Bathroom is clean & neat with modern looks. The rooms are equipped with LCD TVs. You will find plug points at many places which will ease off charging laptops, mobiles, i-pods all at one go. The room has a work table. WiFi is provided free. The food is good. The service is good with helpful staff around. The room rates includes complimentary Breakfast. Only i wish that the breakfast had little more spread.
I would stay over again on business trips again in coming months.

There are no indications of the origins of the grand title to this property! This is very far from being a castle! It however has good crowd throughout as the city of Aurangabad hosts both business travellers and tourists. there is nothing exceptional about this hotel, though the stay can be comfortable. Among the unique services provided include a library at the reception area. The restaurant can get very crowded during mealtime (buffets) as the number of rooms is probably large compared to the number of tables. If not quick, one is in danger of not getting all of the dishes at the buffet. Room service too is slow. Maintenance help arrives slowly too - I had a problem with reception on my in-room TV set and had to wait a long time before I got help.
