We were staying at this hotel for one night as it was part of our package trip up in the Northern India. We arrived in the evening and we were welcomed by the staff very friendly. The hotel director was eben coming out of the hotel to welcome us.
We loved the details in the hotel, showing that theycared for details: The had some very beautyful flower decorations with blossom put in water bowls that it felt like a SPA entrance.
The rooms were VERY spacious, the bed was comfortable, we had a big tv and the bath was very clean and modern.
The restaurant was pretty big too and the servants were very friendly and spoke good English. They even prepared a drink for us which was not even on the menu. The food was also very well prepared.
After dinner, my partner started feeling very bad, not because of the food but overall he got a fever, chills etc... It was the worst night ever and at 2 a.m. I went down to the receptionist to ask if they had more medicamel treatments. The servants even woke up the hotel director and he personally gave us some medicine and called the doctor to come to the hotel.
In the morning, I even was allowed to use the internet in his personal office as there was no public internet computer in the hotel.
Though check out time was at noon, we wer allowed to stay there until 9.p.m. as my partner was still recovering and they did not charge us a single rupee for that!
We could not thank them enoguh for that great hospitality. We felt like they were really caring about us as their guests and let met tell you that we were definitely not the only guests staying there during that time.
We were so glad having stayed at this place. For a person being very sick it helps a lot when recovering in a clean and spacious room with ensuite bathroom, having a little bit of entertainment and staff that really cares.
Though the hotel is not directly in Khajuraho centre we felt good because after many "noisy" days in Rhajastan silence outside of a town felt really elaxing. Also, we had a personal driver so it was not a problem at all to go to the centre of Khajuraho and the temples. It was like a 5-8 minutes drive.
The hotel was also next to an excellent ayurvedic spa! I can olny recommend staying here!
