Landed up without notice and went to places recommended by travel advisory websites and found them to be ill-located and rates varying as per looks of the guests. Even inside, the places didnt look decent. So drove around and found this nice MPTDC hotel, with a garden, parking and privacy. Reasonably priced, attached Restaurant and Bar. Prompt service and no complaints what so ever, be it milk for kids or ice with drinks ( during January month) Only a bit of problem that the main door of room had half an inch of space at bottom and wasnt flush with the floor so anyone making noise is heard in the room. Housekeeping staff, though prompt and good otherwise, was not briefed to close doors gently and not make noise. Overall, a MUCH MUCH better experience.
