I've stayed at Fortune South Park twice this winter and things have improved.
Some of the dodgy old windows have been changed to modern double glazing.
The miserable men in reception have been changed to helpful smiling females and the lady guest services Manager is awsome. I had a refurbished room in January and would return again. The staff in the restaurant all seemed miserable although the chef who came out was pleasant and the food is good value for the price. The travel centre was rubbish with bad timekeeping and a seeming inability to confirm a flight...
The pub was good, the internet well priced and fast in the business centre. I have to add that the Biotique toiletries are some of the best I've ever had and the beds were very comfortable.

South Park had seen its good days. It’s a typical 90’s Hotel and one feel something missing in

character. It’s nor modern or traditional. Service is okay but they really need to do big time

refurbishment. Restaurant is small and the food is good for the price offered.

Greatest advantage is its location.

Was slightly wary given the negative reviews on the room conditions but it proved unfounded as we had excellent clean rooms and prompt service when required. Complimentary buffet breakfast had a good variety too. It has a massage centre, pastry shop, cafe, pub and bookshop within the hotel premises along with a multi-cuisine Regency restaurant.

Just ok.. nothing great,,OK for a one night business stay..staffing and cleanliness not that great,, food was good..a bit Pricey ,, rooms were not that clean.. just average..and service wise dragging.. have to wait for 20 minutes and 2-3 calls to get some water at least..I blame the management for this...
