I stayed in this hotel 2 weeks in September 2011 for Panchakarma treatment.
It's perfect place for these treatments! The very friendly and polite staff, the exellent cousine, every day different dishes... I guess it were an unreal tasty vegetarian food!
The very stylish hotel, fabulous view and very close to the ocean..
This time was low season, so unfortunately there were big waves in the ocean, but the water was very warm.. I'm sure I will return there next year again!

I stayed there 3.5 weeks in June 2010 for Panchakarma treatment. Since it was low season, there were no other people in Ayurbay; I also noted just a copule of tourists outside, no more). I got very good treatment and would definitely return there next year! The only note - sea is cold and very turbulent at this time so you can not swim, but prices at that time also very low, so summer period is suitable for budget traveller. I enjoyed staying here, I was feeling very comfortable, like in family. Both management and staff were very friendly and polite! I guess this place is especially charming during high season when you can swim and enjoy the sun))

The owner Lalitha is a very nice lady with a big heart and passion in what she is doing. The family atmosphere I liked very much. The hotel is situated directly on a beach, it is very nice. The yoga teacher who came every morning at 7.30 am did very good lessons. The ayurveda treatment was good. The hotel, the kitchen, the surrounding seemed a bit unprofessional. Yoga is on extra cost about 500 Rp! Quiet a lot! For the hotel and packages it s too expensive. The rooms are very simple.
The prices for facial treatments are on a very high level, about 40 $ for one treatment.
