A very peaceful place in the middle of the rubber plantations run by a nice set of staff.
Only issue is the generator which is often used during power shut offs that can get a little loud.
Would recommend to other travelers especially those looking for an escape from the city. The elephant ride is really fascinating and enjoyable.

Isabelle France - The moment we entered at Serenity we felt that we are in our own home. We got a beautiful room with a beautiful view in the balcony. Our kids really enjoyed the stay and the elephant ride.The massage we had done was really good and relax able.Our kids were looked after by the lady and they were too friendly, the food was realy excellent. The walk to the rubber estate was also too good. Really we want to come back to serenity once more.

We stayed for just the one night but as another reviewer stated it was not clean, rundown, mould around windows in room and bathroom. The TV and HiFi in lounge where not even plugged in and no power points nearby, the pool was not clean and the food was average. Only 1 room is air conditioned and the rooms are very dark with no outlook.The Wifi also did not work as well and we were not the only people complaining another German couple also complained to management. Considering it is over $400US a night it is very poor value

The building is wonderful, but the rooms, windows, bathrooms and window sills need a good clean. The shower in one of our bathrooms refused to mix hot and cold water, in the other bathroom there was no hot water at all. Despite having pre-paid our stay and the elephant ride, we were asked for full payment at check-out. The elephant ride ended far away from the hotel and we were expected to pay for the transport back to the hotel.
This place has great potential, but is badly run.
