Nice, clean hotel, just off hustle and bustle. Next door to Dutch cemetery. Two minute walk to chinese fishing nets, but in a nice peaceful location.

Unfortunately our downstairs room had darkened window which opened up to inside corridor, so we could not open it. Therefore our room was totally dark. Ask for an upstairs room!

My S.O. and I had a wonderful weekend at fort Kochi, in great part due to our stay at the Poovath. Excellent location, great sea view, attentive staff, very helpful people. Not for anyone who demands perfection, but excellent for anyone who wants to enjoy a romantic vacation. We will be back.

we stay at this lovely property in the month of september. . I must say that this property is the best we have stayed in kochin. . It is such a magnificent building and a beautiful place to hang out with your loved ones. .the staffs are jewels in this property. . They are so kind and always at your service and always with a smiling face. .
I must say that this building is just superb, with an excellent service,tasty food and a lovely front office team. .they guided us n helped us with local sight seeing. .
This hotel is jus wonderful. .we assure that we will surely come back. . And stay for a longer time. . .

Lacated in the heart of Fort Kochi facing the Arabian Sea, this is a beatiful place to stay, but it is hide some deficiencies, like a very bad service, a very simple breakfast and the sudden interruption of the hot water in the bathroom during two days. They told us several times they had fix it but it wasn't true.
At the other hand, they have free wifi for guests, the food at the restaurant is excelent, the rooms are big and spacious and the views from the main terrace overlooks the beach and the romantic dutch cementery, that normally is close to visitors. www.smark.es
