“magic kochi”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

wonderful homestay..i've been there for a couple of days last december with my friends and we felt like home..Harry and her wife were very nice with us...we enjoyed to talk to them and share our experience in india...the room was nice and comfortable with a double bed and a bathroom...very cheap for the european standard but good quality...the house is close to the centre of kochi, nearby the main restaurants and the harbour...we didn't try their kitchen cause we spent out the few hours that we had,,but they wanted to prepare to us very nice brakfast with omelette and coffe...there's no noise..it's a very quiet place..a relaxing atmosphere..in the early morning u can see many people, especially old ones, walk all over kochi..it's like being in paradise..

“Will be back”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 February 2012

This place was recommended to us, and I do understand why.
What a great hospitality!
My daughter and I arrived very late at night at this cosy home, was warmly welcomed, given a nice room and was served a very nice meal in the middle of the night.
Harry John and his wife serve excellent breakfast, give all the service and guidance you ask for and our next homestay was booked, before we left Sithara!
Sithara Homestay is right in the centre of Fort Cochin - close to the sea, the bazar and many other interesting sites.
We had too little time and will return!

“Simply amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2012

This was our favorite place we've stayed in India (and this was our 3rd time in the country)! I arrived very ill and Harry got me to the hospital and made me feel totally looked after. The rooms are lovely, the breaky is great but above all the vibe of this place and it's wonderful owners is beautiful. We couldn't recommend it more highly.

“Real homestay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 January 2012

We stayed 3 nights with Harry and Mercy at their really nice Home in the Center of FortCochin. Mercy is a very good cook. So don't miss the opportunity of trying her very good food. Harry is really helpful, friendly and has a good heart, we had many good and interesting conversations with him and a nice evening spent with him and Mercy cooking for us. They are really nice. The Best Room is the big 2 room, 4 bed room with balcony towards the Beautiful Garden. You can Walk to all sights in fort cochin. We will come back to stay there Next Time in Cochin.

“Nice guesthouse in Good Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 December 2011

This family-run guesthouse is well situated in the heart of Fort Kochi. The host is very helpful and offers valuable advice for your way around. Our room was very clean and with a/c.

Breakfast is not included in the price , but can be served on demand.

We'd definitely go there again.

General advice for Fort Kochi: Don't take the really cheap sightseeing tuk-tuk ride around Fort Kochi, you'll end up in lots of overpriced stores.
