Stayed in the serviced apartment for 2 days as part of a conference. The place is far out of the main city by the backwaters / river. Its across the bridge from Le Meridien. It is a standard 3 star hotel with very few frills (if any).

The rooms are very sparsely furnished but have magnificient river views specially in the daytime. The staff are friendly, helpful and the hotel is satisfactorily maintained. The ride to the main part of Cochin is 45 mins - so the hotel is definately not recommended for someone wanting to do a lot of sightseeing.

Since the apartments are located next to the backwaters / river - A must do is to hire a private boat and go for a sail downriver to the Cochin Dock or upriver. We hired a larger boat which served us dinner (catered from Riviiera) on the very quiet backwaters.

Standard hotel but will not consider this for personal holiday.

it is extremely a very well managed property, with very good staff and service, especially people at the front desk were helpful, they went even out of the way to help us. The room we stayed had a balcony which really give you a view of the thevara back waters. this was a really winder ful experience.

Room reeked of cigarette smoke, though we requested a non smoking room. Room was also not clean and I truly expected bed bugs to emerge. Riviera Suites is also in a poor location, not conducive to touring the main sites in Cochin. Staff is also next to useless.

Loved this place,had a family reunion there and it was most conducive. Food is fabulous and room service is great . They help with anything. Although these are serviced apartments theyre managed like a hotel, with staff willing to clean up at all odd times. Highly recommended especially if you're a group of acquainted people as it works out cheap and very comfortable.
