i am aakash, from meerut(u.p) that was a very good and pleasent hotel for stay and for enjoy.......... and i hope that i wil prefer to stay there when ever i go kochi......................

Very nice, reasonably priced, well maintained hotel with comfortable rooms & a very pleasant & helpful staff. The hotel restaurant is also good & reasonably priced. However, it is not located in the tourist center of town so, if you don't have your own transport, you will spend some extra time walking or riding in tuk tuks to see the sights & visit restaurants, etc.

Nice room, good wi-fi connection, nice breakfest, friendly staff. It's around 3k from the main tourist area (chinese fishing nets), but the hotel provided a free and nice bike, which I enjoyed riding. If you want to walk to the tourist area, this is not the place, but a short tuk-tuk ride or bike is do-able. Tip - if going to Munnar, do not follow the staff's advise re: busses (i did - disaster). Instead, pay $50 for a 4 hour taxi ride.

We spent just one night in Fort Cochin and wanted a comfortable but affordable place to stay. I called the Fort Queen the day before and they happily accommodated us. The front desk staff spoke English very well which made the booking smooth. When we arrived, we felt we had the services of a high-class hotel for a much cheaper price. They were so friendly and helpful and arranged a car for us to go to Kottayam the following day, which was there on a time and priced as billed. The food was tasty, although the AC in the restaurant freezing - bring your jacket! There is free internet in the lobby (no wifi) and free bicycles, which we didn't take advantage of but would have if we had more time. Although it's not in the central part of Fort Cochin, it was a cheap auto rickshaw ride away so no big deal. Highly recommended!
