Jojo the charming and caring host, will arrange every thing for you.
He will take you to fish farms, beach, local churches.... He even guided us to a lovely place for lunch, a wonderful massage, a dream boat ride fishing with a local fisher man at night....
And offcourse the lovely dinner he prepared for us.

I and my wife and two friends stayed over night at Jojo Paul's relaxing home with water front, just a short way outside Kochi. Resting on hammocks watching the sun go down. Jojo was a delightful and helpful host who fed us well with delicious local food.

Me and wife stayed here for three nights. This place is bang on the back waters with a great view. This place is peaceful and ideally located. Far from the bustle of Cochin yet close enough to most places of tourist interest. Kumbalangy island has a wonderful beach which in unspoiled and with very few people.

However what stands out in this home stay is the warmth of the host ( Mr Jojo Paul ) and his wife. Mr Paul takes personal interest in your trip. He is a great guide and a general nice guy. He took great care of us while we were at West Wind Homez.

We stayed for 3 nights at Westwindhomez, arriving at 11.00pm after a tiring 12 hour drive from the north of Kerala. Jojo Paul met our driver on one of the many bridges in Kochi and guided our driver to their homestay on Kumbalangi island, where they had a lovely dinner waiting for us. Jojo Paul and his lovely family then continued to show their kindness and hospitality for the next 3 days. We had a wonderful time.
Westwindhomez is a lovely small homestay located on Kumbalangi island, an island on south side of Kochi (about 30 minutes from Fort Kochi by taxi).
The homestay is located right on the water, so you can sit back and watch fishermen on canoes all day. There are 2 very nice double bedrooms each with private bathrooms overlooking garden and the water.
Kumbalangi island is very quiet and peaceful, and the village is charming. The homestay is extremely clean, very comfortable, in a lovely location, and a fantastic place to spend a few days relaxing and seeing the traditional village life so close to the bustle of Kochi.
