We (couple) have been traveling in India for 8 weeks :BABY'S HOME STAY has definitely been on top of our list of all places we stayed! I would even go as far as saying that it was most likely the nicest place we stayed in so far for a very reasonable price!
Walter & Baby have made us feel very welcome and were extremely helpful with helping us plan our stay as well as onward travel. They even went out of their way to make room for us for one more night despite being fully booked by letting us use a fantastic room upstairs for little extra cost which we highly appreciated, especially during high season! The rooms are spotless and lovely, breakfast is also very nice (real filter coffee). All in all, we cannot recommend this place highly enough, it really felt like a home away from home, if they had not been fully booked we would have loved to stay longer and we would definitely stay again!

I stayed here for a few days in October 2009 and it was wonderful. Walter and Baby were perfect hosts. The room itself was really clean with air conditioning. There was also a sort of living space with a sofa as well as a kitchen and the en suite bathroom. They include 1 bottle of water per person a day in the price, which was a nice touch, and when I arrived they also brought us fruit, and provided information about the ferry to Vypin, and arranged transport for too.

It is situated in a really peaceful, and my friend (both of us are girls) felt completely safe walking the streets. It's within walking distance of the Chinese fishing nets, several shops and plenty of restaurants too.

Overall I loved staying here, and if I ever find myself in Cochin again, (which hopefully I will!) I would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean and comfy with aircon. and an ensuite. The breakfast was the best one in India and I was there for a month. You must try their fried eggs!.
