I stayed at Sajhome for 5 nights in late January. I cannot say enough nice things about this homestay!

I arranged airport pick up and the driver was there waiting for me when I got there. It was about a 45 minute drive from the airport. From the minute I walked into Sajhome, I was taken care of. It was late and I was offered food and water which was great. When emailing with Saj to confirm me stay, he stressed the room was small. I thought it was perfect. It had an ensure bathroom and a great balcony.

Breakfast was included in the price and it was delicious! It was a traditional Keralan breakfast served every morning on the patio.

Saj sat down with me on my first day, gave me a map and went over it with me and discussed what I wanted to do. He arranged a full day backwaters trip which Wes great.

The location was perfect. It was with in a .5 mile or so walk to almost everything. Cochin is very easy to navigate and that map helps a lot.

I cannot recommend Sajhome enough and you should really stay there if you find yourself in Cochin.

We really were blown away by the hospitality shown us by Saj and Seeya. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble.Saj organized a lift for my son to catch a late night bus to the railway station (no cost) and drove us to a selected restaurant as there were no tuk tuks around, again no cost.

Through many emails (always quickly answered) I asked Saj to organize accommodation and a two bedroom houseboat for the 'Karella Backwater trip'. This was all done with great efficiency and we had a great time. Our room was large and spotlessly clean the air con great, we could not fault it.

A high lite at Saj's, are the breakfasts.Beautifully presented and oh! so tasty. Try the Masala tea, just magic!

Sajhome is the only place to when in Fort Cochin.Location is really convenient.

Of all the places i've stayed in, Sajhomes was truly one of the best....5 star hotels included!! Don't bother looking anywhere else in Cochin cos this is really the best!

Let me start with Saj himself - such a friendly and warm person...he made me feel so at home and made me feel more like a family member than a guest. I didn't feel uncomfortable at all! He was so very helpful with giving me tips on where to go and what to do...and was constantly checking to make sure i was comfortable.

Then there's his nephew Sia who is so very friendly as well and was great help in making bookings for me for shows and stuff, and giving me advice on how to get around. I have never met someone so happy to answer questions! Really has such a passion for his job!

I took a single room since i was travelling alone and it was simply lovely! Nice big comfy bed, spotless room and bathroom, and there was even a towel and soap provided. I loved it!!!

Breakfast : This review will not be complete without a special mention about the food in this place. Saj's wife makes the most delicious food ever!!!!!! And the portions are huge!!! I was so full but i didn't want to stop eating cos it was just THAT tasty!!! And all the reviews about the pineapple juice....you better believe it!!!....absolutely fantastic!!! I've been ordering pineapple juice everywhere i go since coming back to Malaysia, but nothing can hold a candle to Saj's pineapple juice! Amazing!

Location : Within walking distance to everything!!! 5 mins to Princess Street, 10 mins to the Fishing Nets and ferry. The perfect location! And at such an affordable price. Don't bother going anywhere else...seriously! This place really is the best!

Had a fantastic two night stay at Saj's home. We were made to feel so welcome, the bed was the most comfortable and we were fed a delicious breakfast on the sunny terrace. The place is immaculately clean and located in the middle of everything you could possibly want to see in Fort Cochin. I highly recommend taking Saj's advice on backwater tours and other accommodation in Kerala as our entire trip was completely hassle free and our houseboat and bamboo hut in Varkala were a joy and thanks to Saj!
