Nice business hotel, I've stayed in this month for a couple of days. Well located, a little bad in maintenance - as all indian hotels this level - but in average, good.
Room confortable but cleaness (always a problem in India) not so perfect.
Air Conditioning a little noiser

Sister, mom and I traveled to Bangalore in Aug 2010 as part of a shopping trip and decided to book a room in a hotel near the heart of the city instead of staying with relatives who lived outside Bangalore. **note Trip advisor will not let me date back to 2010 so that's the discrepancy you might notice here** We made a great choice thanks to the recommendation of some family members. The Monarch was quiet, central to the shopping district and heart of the city. It was a nice, luxurious experience for us. The breakfast buffet in the morning was amazing, an array of hot Indian breakfast items (and some leftover curries from dinner last night) on heated buffet warmer trays, also continental breakfast items and fresh fruit. They would also make you masala dosa or omelets on request. Sister and I tried dinner and found it quite pricey and the portions a little small but perhaps it was what we ordered. The service from all staff members was excellent, our room was clean and comfortable and all of us slept well-even though we were sharing 2 beds-more than enough room. Loved the openness and wall to windows of the front lobby. Noticed that it was mainly a business hotel but it's a great place for families as well. A little pricey but if you are looking for a break and a hint of luxury close to the city this is a great pick! Highly recommend.

Location is very ideal to stay closet the city centre. Restaurant is very good, a number of cusion is available. You can roam in th enight time and can enjoy a short travel by NAMA METRO.
Rates are economical as comapre to hotel available in that area.

Nice business hotel, on a averagely busy road, close to MG Road. Very clean rooms, good bathroom, comfortable bed, good service with a smile. I booked through MMT & got a decent bargain on the price.

Although the rooms have many bulbs & light sources, but I felt it was under lit & a trifle dim for my liking. I had a female guest in my room for quite a long time during the day & I would sense her initially being uncomfortable.

But overall, very professional hotel. I would definitely give it a second visit during my future business trips to Bangalore.
