First of all let me say I like this hotel. So how would I describe it, Elegant, 'Olde Worlde', shabby chic, old fashioned, something from a bye-gone-age. Clean and tidy it is, modern it;s not, but that not bad. The rooms are just like the photo's on the website. The location is great - but crazy outside. If you are worried about crowds and trafic then this may not be for you. But if you want to get and about and see something of real bangalore then this is really exceptional. Get the hotel to get somebody to pick you up from the airport, local drivers may not be able to find it.

Most of the other comments are valid, except we found the staff very helpful. But as I've suggested, this is not a Holiday Inn, nor are its prices.

The hotel & the management has to improve a lot n lot. They are money minded but, nothing is value for money kind of food is served. The food quality is pathetic. Food served is not "FRESH".

Hoping the closure of this hotel, would only bring pride to Bengaluru.

This is a very beautiful property located in the Central business district of Bengaluru, close to M. G. Road and Brigade Road. The rooms are grand and clean. We had taken a Suite, which was very spacious. The food served was tasty, but the menu is limited. They can add more variety to it. Service is excellent. The staff, especially the front office staff were very friendly and helpful. Being a business hotel, not much activity for children. Over all we had a very pleasant stay.

The Grand Magrath Hotel is situated on Magrath Road and is a beautiful property right in the heart of the city and the happening place ie Brigade Road and walking distance from MG Road. Another locational advantage is the close proximity to the Metro Station recently started in the city. The rooms are very spacious and not like the small ones at most Hotel these days. You get a feeling of calm and serenity in this Hotel with greenry all around. The service is good and the food and bar is also decent. Convenient place to invite guests as it is very centrally located.
