I chose this hotel from reading other reviews..

As mentioned before, this is not a hotel but a guest house (i.e. it is literally a house in the residential suburb of Karumangala (hope I have spelt it correctly).
The location is very far from MG road, approx. 20 to 30 minutes. Taxis are very hard to find.
The service at the hotel is appalling. At times we felt cheated, eg. we asked clothes to be washed, and it came back dirty, and we were charged. After complaining we were refunded some money. We were also lied to about who washes the clothes as we were told it was washed outside but it was really done upstairs on the roof. Still they couldn't get that right, we found clothes on th roof floor instead of the clothes line. Also, we were told one rate when hiring the "old" and "run down" ambasodor, but at the end of the day the driver wanted more money?!! When droping to the airport, we were asked to prepay for the fare, which we were happy to, but also to pay extra for parking fee which does not apply for dropoffs?!!
I must say the rooms and bathroom are clean and tidy, but the bathroom really needs a makeover. The bathroom has a shower area with curtain without a shower box, so when one finishes having a shower the whole bathroom including the toilet area is "really wet". My wife found this very difficult, as it meant walking through a wet bathroom to use the toilet in the night.
If I were to go to Bangalore again, I would definetly not go here....pay extra and get a place closer to MG Road...

We stayed at the Executive Inn for over three weeks earlier this year. The hospitality was excellent. The staff, in particular Mahaindran, was attentive, helpful in every way, making certain we had everything we wanted or needed. The service extended to finding an excellent driver for us, named Suresh,whom we recommend highly and without reservation. We stayed in the suite which had a bedroom and a sitting room with a comfortable couch, refrigerator, tea/coffee facilities, a fan, etc. We used our laptop every day. The air conditioning was efficient. Breakfasts were very good and made to order. It was a friendly, respectful, courteous, comfortable haven in the crazy city. We would certainly stay there again. I recently was a guest at the Executive Inn and have nothing but good things to say about the place. The staff are very friendly, and the owner is a gem of a person- soft spoken and very helpful. This is the place to stay if you have business in nearby Sarjapur or Electronics City. Also, room rates in 5 Star hotels in Bangalore average $400 a night!! As someone else said in an earlier review, the Executive Inn is value for money. I gladly recommend this place.

On the plus side, this guest house offers value for money. Impressively clean rooms and premises, hygenic all around. Bright colours and good lighting. Bathrooms simple but also clean and well maintained. Room has small TV set with CNN and other cable channels, and electric kettle.

However, wireless internet did not work as advertised, in fact it didn´t work at all. Every day I was promised that it would be repaired, but it never was. Guests were allowed to use the computer in the office, though.

Guest house is located in a nondescript residential area, quite far away from downtown Bangalore, about 40 minutes by car. Not much to see or do within walking distance. Many times taxi drivers found it next to impossible to find.
