My family stayed at the St. Mark's Hotel in Bangalore in mid Nov. 2011.
The hotel was exceptionally clean. The dining was unbelievably good and very diverse.
The most wonderful part of our experience with the St. Mark's Hotel was the staff.
They were exceedingly helpful, kind, courteous and always very pleasant.
I would highly, highly recommend St. Mark's Hotel in Bangalore to anyone traveling through the city. The location was excellent. Its gated, they offer transportation to and from other destinations.
We had our 5 yr old with us. They were exceedingly kind to her, very attentive and patient with her. I couldn't be more pleased with a hotel.

We stayed here in mid-January 2012 and St Mark's completely lived up to the recommendation we'd been given, it is exceptionally well-run. Service is very attentive, friendly and helpful. Everything was as spotless and comfortable as you'd hope from a very modern hotel. The room had everything one needs, including comfortable seating. Shower was an excellent wet room-type (with sound piped into the bathroom so you can listen to the TV). The restaurant was equally well run and the buffet food superb at all meals (we didn't try a la carte or room service but a family member had and said they, too, were excellent) - even the choice at breakfast was extensive and the chef makes a delicious masala omelette to order! Very well located hotel and easy to pick up transport from it. It's on a noisy road but you do not notice it at all once inside, indeed - you immediately relax!

We stayed here in Dec 2011. This hotel is absolutely fabulous. Service was 5 star. Whoever is running this place has done an excellent job.

Room was perfect with everything you ever need right there. Very, very comfortable. Food in the restaurant is first class. We stayed at a few luxury hotels in India and this one was the best of our entire trip.

Overall: I can't think of a better place to stay in Bangalore.

We stayed at the St. Marks Hotel from the 20th thru 23rd of January, and came back for an additional night on Jan 27th. The hotel is very strategically located at the heart of Bangalore, very close to MG road. There are a few nice restaurants close by.

The hotel is very new and immaculately maintained. Our room was on nice and large with a comfortable lounging chair. The higher floor rooms have a view of the surrounding area.
The hotel staff is very cooperative and helpful. We were welcomed by the Lobby Manager, Mr. Sanjay Singh and the Hotel VP Mr. Menon. Mr. Menon made sure that all our needs were met affectively.

The checkout process was quick and efficient. Although a few items were added to the bill, incorrectly, the Lobby Manager was able to adjust the charges without any issues.

On our return, we were again welcomed, and Mr. Menon even called us at our room and invited us for dinner.

All in all, we would recommend this hotel with no hesitation.
