“Good but could have been better”

Location is prominent but chaotic.Friendly reception but with slow reactions.Some of the rooms which have recently been renovated are good especially the ones with see through bathrooms.
Operating TV and cable DTH BOX is not user friendly and you need bellboy's help. Rooms are little small but well appointed. Best part is their Breakfast where more than food the old Manager is high point. He makes it a point to see you full and contented with his personal care. Silver Spoon Bar is a cozy den where you can enjoy a chilled beer with Masala Peanuts.

Room Tip: Opt for newly renovated rooms only

While taking this opportunity to thank you for having chosen, Vijay Residency, during your stay here in Bangalore in the month of July, '11. It gives us satisfaction to know you have liked our newly renovated rooms and that you appreciate the thought that has gone into the new rooms to make your stay comfortable.

As regards to your comment on the DTH, we are working together with our cable operator to make the experience a far more enjoyable and hassle free one and i'm sure for your next visit, you would find it far more relaxing than the experience you have had at said visit. Shall personally convey your wishes and appreciation of the work that Mr. Prabhakar, Manager at our Coffee Shop, Vijay Vihar.

While thanking you again for taking your valuable time out to write this review about Vijay Residency, it also gives me immense pleasure to keep you informed that we are in the process of renovating another floor of our rooms to better serve discerning patrons like you to unwind in a busy schedule. “Good Hotel with Tasty Food”

Hotel Vijay Residency is excellently located in commercial market of Gandhinagar, Bangaluru. Nearby Hotel, you will find a very good market to shop and roam around. Hotel food is very Nice specially Morning Buffet Breakfast which is very tasty amnd full of variety.

“A reasonable place to stay”

The hotel is located in Gandhinagar, Bangalore jsut across the Bangalore City Station and the Majestic Bus Station and that way it is conveniently located. The Hotel has two restaurants and the Vegetarion food is classic South Indian for the mornings and mix of North Indian and Chinese for the night. For bookworms, Sapna Book mall is just across the hotel. The rates charged does not seem reasonable with respect to the ameneties available. However for those travelling on company sposored trips, this can be a reasonable place to stay.

Thanks for the review of our hotel, Vijay Residency, the undersigned would like to know what other amenities would make our hotel a better value for money to make your stay more comfortable in your next visit.

I would also like to state that we have upgraded our entire floor, keeping in the mind the international standards and are the process of upgrading the rest of the floors as well in a systematic time framed exercise.

“Indian 3 star may not man 3 star elsewhere”

An interesting experience - hotel centrally located with a very busy retail district.
Female travellers might be better served in another hotel, as there was a very high percentage of male guests, both at the hotel, restaurant and cafe.
Restaurant is not recommended - food, service and drinks disappointing.
Cafe staff were charming. Hotel staff were friendly and attentive. Some issues with cleanliness of rooms.

Very basic but overpriced at 89USD per nite. Very friendly, helpful staff. You really have to let the water run a long time to get some warm water. Busy area of town.
