I have stayed in this Hotel twice in the past 2 years. When it was Melange Astris the staff very kind & helpful, extremely courteous and went out of their way to ensure I had a fantastic stay. I arrived at the Hotel by taxi and noticed the name had changed to Citadines Apart Hotel and wondered if I had the right place. The Hotel had a change of Management in Aug 2011. The front desk assured me even though the name of the Hotel had changed that their service levels had not. Personally I felt the service is not upto the usual excellence that I experienced a year ago, which was disappointing. The front desk staff were attentive to my requirements but lacked friendliness completely. I was very unwell when I arrived at the Hotel and my friend told the front desk that I may need a Doctor or assistance. To my surprise during my 6 day stay not one of the staff enquired as to my health or well being, so I was a bit shocked. Otherwise my room was fine and I did notice that the restaurant had a better breakfast selection but the staff were not very well versed in english, & when I asked a question to one of the Restaurant Staff he just looked at me and walked away. Dinner was not a good option at the Restaurant due to their very limited menu and I could not find an dining menu for outside dining options which Melange Astris did have last time I stayed. So if this Hotel wants to retain it's excellent rating I suggest they do something drastically to improve their service levels.

Superb place to stay. This was my first visit to Milange Astris and the experience I had with this was a memorable one. Food and Services were miles ahead. Person who work here are quier friendly. Good location near city centre. Quite and subtly elegant. This place is a true bargain. I would definitely recommend others to stay at this place and make their stay a memorable one. Will surely visit again.......

The apartments are very good. Modern, clean, all working etc. Although they missed my reservation when there was the change in owners, that was fixed and check-in was fine. We did request a quiet room, but they put us on the busy Richmond rd side. We changed room to the opposite side and this was much better and had a balcony.

The service was a bit hit and miss, as was the breakfast / cafe. Best to have the dosa for breakfast as this is cooked fresh, whereas the pastries looked like they may have been from the day(s) before. We had lunch as the Oberoi and the service was miles ahead, although room wise my preference would be to stay here (and Oberoi is 3-4 x as much).

This is a cozy place to stay in Bangalore, if you have work in the central part of the city. the management has recently been taken over by the Citadines and my initial impression is positive. There is a sort of a restaurant inside the hotel which serves passable breakfast and some rudimentary lunch and dinner. The persons who work here are quite friendly and helpful.
