I spent 4 nights at the hotel. They state it's a 5 Star hotel. That may be based on Bangalore standards, but not on International standards. I find it more like a 2 to 3 Star hotel.

The location offers the ability to walk to a nearby main road and shops/restaurants including KFC and McDonalds if you need a 'western food fix'.

The staff was abundant and friendly, but not overly helpful. The hotel facility looks fairly nice, but suffers from cleanliness problems. The rooms are somewhat small, but could use a vacuuming and additional cleaning. It was fairly quiet and generally comfortable.

The bathroom isn't tile, but the covered pressed-board type of material. The tub/shower had a curtain that was too short to stay in the tub, allowing water to get on the floor no matter how hard you tried to contain it. The sink fixture was very loose. The bathroom generally looked like it needs a thorough cleaning with some good cleanser.

The food in the first floor restaurant was an okay buffet, but I found the food often cool or cold as they continually left the serving container covers open. They have an outdoor rooftop restaurant, which has a reasonable view of the area and the food was good. The restaurant shares the area with an outdoor rooftop pool, which appeared nice, but a bit small.

It wouldn't be my first choice hotel the next time.
