First of all my apologies for not been able to post this well deserved review before.
We stayed at Lasermo in Aug 11 for almost a week and whenever we return to Leh again, we aren’t going anywhere else. Having traveled across the globe and stayed with all popular hotel chains, this place is among the best I have seen, in terms of hospitality. The staff is nice, interactive and polite. The food is pretty much the best you would find in this region. If you don’t like something, do let them and you would see them make all the efforts to accommodate your request. Most importantly they deliver what they commit to.

stayed here at the hotel in july 2011..great service and very warm& welcoming environment...the rooms were nice and the staff service was pretty good..i would definitely recomend it to anyone who visits Leh..

We had a splendid time of leisure when recently I had visited Hotel Lasermo at Leh. It has a good ambiance, very nice location, great emphasis on cleanliness and top of all EXCELLENT FOOD. We had never imagined that we can have such a wonderful vegeterian food at such a remote place.
The owner of the fantastic property Mr. Ashrafji is very co-operative and always eager to help every one with a smiling face. He is blessed with an excellent nature and their staff is very courteous.
We had a wonderful experience which we will cherish for years.

Spent 4 nights early October at the Lasermo. The setting is quite pretty, with the main courtward and meeting point at its centre. It was nice to discover the roof terrace to watch splendid sunsets. The food was surprisingly very good and the staff helpful, polite and always smiling.
However there was no heating in the room and very little hot water. Hot water bottles were provided to compensate, but this did not much to help with the cold at night.
The rooms were dimly lit.
If heaters had been provided this would have made our stay at the Lasermo much more pleasant. But top marks to the staff, specially the cooks.
