Ankit & Nisha: We booked three pine view family rooms for 4N/4D at Sarthak Resort in the month of Oct, 2011.

It was pleasant to stay at Sarthak Resort, because the view from the rooms is too good. All rooms were clean and nice, which cannot be explained in words. It is a good place to stay, and the hospitality & attitude of the staff at resorts were very warm. The courtesy extended by Mr. Budhi Prakash, Mr. Rinesh and his staff while our stay at Resort is amazing.

As people said earlier, Sarthak is a place you would definitely come back to and recommend to your family and friends………

this is an outof the manali city resort on khaknal road, best thing is you are away from the bhid bhad.
rooms are very nicely maintained ad good, both valley veiw and mountain veiw rooms are good. choose this if you realy want to enjoy manali,

Hi..We were in manali .. in a mess when our tour operator ditched & our original hotel - HOTEL NATRAJ ( adjacent to kennilworth) cancelled our bookings last moment...we were suggested that sarthak resorts is a good option with charges of 2500 bucks a day....Relying upon, we started for the hotel in search of peaceful night... Appearence- Too far from City ... in a corner where you will find no one on road after 7 in evening ; Rooms - we were charged Rs. 5000/- for two rooms but we were given duplex room for which printed tariff was 3500/-... In rooms- present were used linen with foul smell in entire corridor & as well as in room; Room service - Poor , presence of dust in tea cups.... We immediately decided to leave in morning for next property to stay; Final Punch - At the time of bookings we were told all inclusive charges but at the time of payment, we were charged tax & service tax extra saying nothing was committed in written...Good.... that's good or no that's not good.

Went to Manali in the last week of June. Had booked 2 deluxe pine rooms. As requested we got two adjacent rooms. The rooms are of decent size with balacony having a decent view of the pine forest. The resturant inside the hotel is not special ad would advise people not to take the breakfast option at the hotel. It is around 10 mins drive from the city so stay here if you are coming on your own vehicle.(even though the hotel provides a cab service to the city).

The room service is decent but the rooms need to be better maintained. all in all it was a problem free stay for us and on the price we paid during the peak season, i would say it was value.
