We went to Manali in the first week of Dec, 2011 for our Honeymoon. Good things are:
1. Very good food.
2. Excellent service.
3. Breathtaking view of the snowy peaks from the rooms.

Hotel is located up hill 2 km from the mall road in Manali. Its bit difficult to reach without vehicle as one has to climb the up hill 2 kms. If you don’t have your own vehicle then prepare to spend good amount of money for hotel trips during odd hours. During snow fall this location becomes very difficult to reach as normal vehicle cant climb on hill road with ice. Location of hotel is very quite & peaceful. There is some construction work going on in front of the hotel which blocks some view from hotel rooms. There is no lift hence one have to climb down steps 2-3 floors.
Room standard is quite good. Rooms are very clean & neat. They provide 24 x 7 hot water with tube & heaters in the room. There is also a water heater for quick coffee / tea. Quality of material used is very good. Complementary soaps/conditioner are of excellent quality. Room service is very quick & staff is very co-operative. Hotel has travel desk which is very useful.

Food is below average. One night we asked for sizzler which was total disaster. Breakfast has some variety but quickly becomes boring after 2-3 days. There is lot of scope of improvement in this area.

For Xmas night they arrange one party which was nothing but Music/dance & food.
They informed us its compulsory and we have to pay 1000 Rs per person additional. This was not mention at time of booking. After complaining to manager it was made optional. We wont opt for party, but strangely TV cable stopped working during party time.

Hotel has centralized heater but they keep it on only when hotel is full. So we saw it working only 1 night out of 4 night stay. Overall its decent hotel except food.

I had being there for my Honeymoon and trust me its a good place to stay and also close to the market. Food is good n staff is helpful

Very clean, very friendly, great location, really nice view. I am unfortunately very picky regarding cleanliness, and my room was extremely clean. I highly recommend this hotel. But food was ok not very good. One can opt for this, its also have a nice play room
