After an hours drive we arrived at this hotel from the airport on the 2nd of Jan 2012. Entered the reception/lobby to be greeted with a disgruntled guest having an argument with the reception staff which became very loud. We were asked to have seat in the lobby with temperatures well above 30 degrees celsius with no air on in the lobby. We waited well over an hour to be checked in. The room were spacious with 2 bathrooms and big living area and the bedroom opens up into a beautiful garden. The staff however could be a little bit more hospitable and a smile on their faces now and then will go a long way in making their guest feel more welcome. The breakfast has a good spread but again the staff could be more friendlier and at least give a smile now and then. They should also top up the buffet more frequently especially during peak occupancy times. The pool, steam room add a nice touch to ones stay at this hotel. The shuttle to the sister hotel makes up for the shortcomings in this hotel, but the frequency of the shuttle should however be increased.

I was looking forward to staying here for months. I have never spent this much on a hotel and thought my money would go much further in India. The front desk staff were aloof and unresponsive. The restaurant staff fantastic. Room service had left items from the guests, like coffee in the coffee cups. Kids screamed through dinner and the tile and solid walls echoed loud enough that my husband and I could not converse. The food was great, though.

I stayed 1 night on Christmas season. Room is clean and has 2 bathrooms. There is a pool but no beach. It was a good stay in Christmas season.

I stayed there for 2 nights. The rooms are big and the space gives a sense of luxury. The room had a balcony and made for some relaxing time with my morning tea. The beach was not close to the hotel ... 1 km walk from the hotel. For the money they charge I could find better locations. The food is very average and I felt it was overpriced on one night, I would rather eat at the shacks. The pool is good but the pool boys are hard to find in the evening.
