Very nice and calm place to stay. At a walkable distance to a not crowded beach. Comfortable and clean rooms (with lovely towel sculptures). Driver service (with a very helpful driver like all the other staff). Very close to the amazing Martin's corner restaurant.

We stayed here for New Years weekend and this was our second time at Martin's Comfort. Things we liked: (1) neat and clean rooms (2) the pool is really small, but cute and has a kiddie pool enclosure as well. (3) small kids effects like a tiny slide, see saw and a merry go round (for kids around 5 years of age) (4) Very helpful staff, especially Nazareth from the front office. (5) Martins Restaurant being right across the street and also being served in the comfort of your room (6) The balcony attached to the room (7) No expensive 'gala dinner' forced on you for the 24th Dec and 31st Dec evenings - instead they will be happy to make a reservation for you the their restaurant which had a nice party going thru till a little past mid night + a fireworks display at midnight
Matter of fact:(1) Functional bathrooms with no over the top toileteries i.e. medimix soaps and sachet shampoos.
Things that could be better: the breakfast spread. Not that its bad, but fairly limited. There are eggs on order, a sheera, puri bhaji, corn flakes, fruits, toast, jam, butter and tea / coffee. I wish they would have brewed their coffee here - instead all you get is nescafe instant coffee powder :-(

The coffee cant come in the way of this place, though. We really liked our stay here and think it is more than value for money. Great for families, couples, senior citizens (do ask for a room on the ground floor) etc.

There are 2 beaches close by - one is right down the road from Martins Confort and the other one is a little ahead of Alila Diwa. Majorda beacj also has a few shacks and the much talked about reataurant FishKa is also a short walk away from the hotel.

Certainly recommend this place.

The very famous Martin's Corner of Betalbatim has opened its own little hotel with 18 rooms.Rooms are clean and basic, swimming pool is sufficient and the breakfast is fine.What is great is its proximity to Sunset beach - the best in Goa according to me and ofcourse its just opposite Martins corner with its fabulous food.We were 3 families with children and a great holiday.Staff are great and friendly,especially Nazareth and we even got Xmas cakes!

Have stayed here a couple of times. It is under the same ownership as the superb Martins Corner restaurant, which is just across the road, and lives up to the same high standard.

The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful.

There is a well-maintained pool, though this is mostly in the shade by around lunch time. Mind you, with the beach a short walk away, that should not cause too much of a problem!

Location-wise, it is in a peaceful area between Betalbatim and Majorda, a 10 minute walk from the beautiful and quiet Sunset Beach. I noticed that the area has been developed quite a bit since my previous visit 3 years ago, but hopefully it won't become overrun by countless multinational hotel campuses like so many other areas of Goa.

We'll certainly be returning again.
