After 15 years of package trips to Goa we decided to make our own arrangements,and what a lucky break we discovered Big Daddys Inn and its sister guest house Cuba Retreat in Mandrem.
Big Daddys has 8 rooms all A/c, well furnished, the wardrobe was however rather small.The room was very clean and serviced on a daily basis.The food was very tasty and the Restaurant was popular with non residents in the evening.
Part way through our holiday we stayed at Cuba Retreat in Mandrem,this has 12 rooms with more next year these are a mix of A/c and Non A/c Rooms.The rooms were once again well furnished still with a small wardrobe however,
the rooms were cleaned on a daily basis,and like Big Daddys the food was very tasty.
Both places are in nice quiet locations close to the resorts,
the staff are friendly and helpful and I would recommend both places to anyone seeking a quiet relaxing stay in Goa.Good value for money.
