We were on our way to Tirumala for darshan while we stayed over at Tirupati. We chose Fortune Kences and have no regrets for the same. We were greeted very politely by the front desk and our check-in was done very smoothly and fast, we were accommodated in a Fortune club Room which was quite spacious, clean and neat with clean linen and well sorted out room.
beds were very comfortable and so were the pillows, after standing in the que at tirumala for 3 hours and finishing the darshan we were tired and all we wanted is a good sleep which we got once we crashed into our beds for a few hours we were so fresh and ready to go on with our journey.
Toilets r also very clean n neat and all kinds of toiletries are provided in case one forgets something
Food is also very good we had all our meals there and there was an option of either having the buffet or going al - a- carte.
We chose to have the buffet everytime and it was a good big spread ranging from indian to chinese to south indian, good food and very well served hot.

Overall i guess this is the best option one could choose for a comfortable and lovely stay at Tirupati.

Fortune Kences is a nice property. You will find newly renovated, spacious rooms with TV but no mini bar or coffee maker. Their room service is very prompt. You get your money’s worth (we paid 5,500/INR for a triple room for one night). However, as always when in India; you need to check under the sheets! Their pillows were very old and stained so I had to get them to put 3 covers one on top of the other. Bed sheet had stains and they promptly changed them. Even the crockery; first they brought some old stained ones but when we complained they brought us very nice crockery.
Staff is not hotel trained so don’t expect them to give you star service. But they are very courteous and ready to learn. I had to tell them not to hold the glass by the mouth and to hold the handle of the tea cup instead of the mouth area! Very few spoke English.
Best part is they are open to suggestions and recommendations. Willing to change and grow. It is a nice property and with proper guidance they can improve. For your information this is the best property in that area!
So, be free to demand what you want!

FORTUNE!!!!!!!!!! Don't expect anything out of this...brand. I am still not sure how Fortune could operate this hotel. This might be one of the worst hotels operated by Fortune. None of the features that needs to be taken care for an Star category hotel are cared. Right from the Noise levels to the staff.

Its is the only Hotel here which has some star hotel's facilities.Though the staff's are not good.I was travelling with my Family with Parents and Son.Despite of my booking from Makemytrip i had to wait 30-45 Minutes for the check in.No doubt its very expensive for food,Tea etc.But its the best hotel here.Railway Station is 1.5 KM and bus stand is infront of this hotel.
