“Cute and classy at the same time.”

This Thanksgiving, there were so many people staying at my mom's house that my husband and I, along with my cousin and her husband decided to stay at the Inn. We were able to locate a coupon that discounted the rate making it a very reasonable price. In fact, after the first night, we were so enamored of the Inn that we stayed a second night. The rooms were in a separate building nestled down by a bunch of big cottonwood trees, which I'm sure are just gorgeous in the summer. Once we got in the room, we saw that there was a door leading on to a charming courtyard that was shared with the 10 or so rooms in the building. Our door was right next to my cousin's. allowing us to go back and forth between rooms and socialize. The food at the restaurant is really great. This Inn does not have much of a lobby, and there isn't a pool or a fitness center, but it is so charming, with a gas fireplace in each room and some with a living area, that you wouldn't really miss those things. I am looking forward to making an excuse to stay in the summer.

Room Tip: The suites have a separate living area with a fireplace, but the regular rooms have a fireplace righ...

“Always A Delightful Visit”

My husband and I stumbled on this gem a few years back and have been fortunate enough to visit about twice a year, always deligtful. But this time was even better with the improvements they made to the casita. The new light fixtures, bathroom sink and flat screen TV were all needed and welcome additions that made our stay even more enjoyable. As always, the Abiquiu Cafe served great Mexican food and the service was good too. We will certainly return.

We booked this hotel through Sniqueway-what a deal! Had a king room with a really comfy bed and a nice fireplace. Charming, cozy, and the restaurant was excellent. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. Definitely plan to return!

“A Lovely Hotel and Location”

The Abiquiu Inn

My wife and I stayed recently for two nights at this hotel and our experience was excellent.

The Abiquiu Inn provides a gateway to this lovely region of New Mexico with its fabulous scenery. It mkes visiting the attarctions in the area very manageable e.g. the Mission in the Desert (Benedictine Monastery - at 13:00 each day the monks chant the service for c 20 minutes - unique experience), Lake Abiquiu and Damn, Ghost Ranch (Presbyterian education centre), Hot Springs, Mosque and the "White Place". All well worth the effort/drive.

We stayed in one of the casitas with a king bed, Kiva fireplace and shared courtyard. It was very comfortable with lovely local decor and well equipped.
We dined in the restaurant each night and ate breakfast each morning. The food and service were of good qulity and value.

The staff were very welcoming and pleasant and helped to make it a super stay. It should, however, be noted that they do not have a licence to serve alcohol on Sundays.

We recommend the hotel to anyone who is visiting this area for the first time or making a return visit.

“The food is divine”

Had a sniqueaway trip to Abiquiu Inn with my son and two dogs. First, I would say that the Inn was awesome but the other travelers were quite inquisitive about our dogs. The Inn does allow pets and that's one on the main reasons that I chose it. The air was brisk and fresh, the area around the Inn was peaceful (except for nosy people). The sunrise was awe inspiring. Anyway, we took the time to drive 15 minutes up the road to Abiquiu Lake in a word - AWESOME and the red rocks...great picture taking. Oh yeah if you take the road to the dam there are warning signs about high water and if you drive that road you will need a high clearance vehicle. Okay, back to the Inn the courtyard outside of your room has a water fountain and chairs to lounge on. On to the restaurant onsite - the dessert is divine. Try the lemon bread pudding or the tres leches cake. Enjoy!

Room Tip: "Purchase the casita"
