Nothing fancy. No tvs except in the bar; no extraneous noises. Be sure to bring a good book if you are on your own. Accessible to town by local bus or taxi (recommend the bus for seeing the countryside. Staff was very helpful. Mammosa especially!

What a wonderful way to start our Fiji vacation. We stayed 3 nights and could not say enough good things about the resort.. We arrived at 630am after our all night flight from the states. The office stored out luggage invited us to have breakfast and had our Bure ready by 9am so we could settle in. The food was amazing,thank you Darren for doing such a great job. Amanda went out of her way to inform us on anything we needed to know,and showed us the villas,since I had read about them on line and wanted a peek.. On a day trip,we stopped at the Westin to pick up others taking our tour (the Westin could have been anywhere-rubber-stamped hotel) the First Landing gave you the true feeling of the Fiji I wanted to experience.. The staff,rooms,property were great..I would recommend a stop here before you head out to any of the other islands... Thanks 1st Landing-see you again soon!!

I can't believe this resort doesn't have first class reviews. My husband, two daughters and myself have just returned from a three week holiday in Fiji. We stayed in the Royal Villa (which Princes Charles stayed in in 2006) for only two nights. The Villa was unbelievable it had everything you need for a very enjoyable stay like its own private pool, a very clean kitchen and very roomy bedrooms. Every morning a very special note is left on your bed which is a lovely touch. As for the beach isn't it obviously the tide comes in and goes out everyday all over the world so you just have to accept it after all it's nature. The meals are out of this world. Darren the chef knows how to cook a steak to perfection. Firstlanding food was the best out of all the other resorts and hotels we stayed at. It's a shame we only spent two nights there but I'm glad we found this hidden paradise. Vinaka vaka levu to all the staff

Our family, myself, husband, a sixteen year old and a fourteen year old stayed at First Landing for 10 nights. We had the meal plan for our stay. Although it is rated as a three star resort, in our opinion, it rates as 5 star service. We were more than comfortable, ate like kings and queens and had the time of our lives. The staff could not have been kinder
to our children and the restaurant staff were brilliant. We were able to plan day trips which were terrific although we had a few days just resting in our clean room. We would not hesitate to stay there again. Well done and thanks to Amanda and all the staff who gave us a memorable and fantastic holiday.
