The viking Club Hotel is advertisd as 4* in the Mercury Brochure but is no more than 2*. The crockery was chipped and cracked and meals repetitive. The serving dishes were dangerous to open and the food was cold. The only bar was outside, and the All Inclusive was a joke. It was very cold at night so impossible to sit round the bar for a length of time. The whole complex including the bar and restaurant were infested with flies. This hotel should not be advertised as 4* it is a complete misrepresentation. Most of the guests complained about their rooms not being up to scratch. We were very disappointed with the accommodation and the hotel in general.

Rooms tired and need of a refurbishment - wardrobe doors spent more time of the tracks.
No entertainment, only one bar which is outside. No indoor facility to sit and socialise.
Snacks not available throughout the day. Water not available at breakfast unless you pay. restaurant resembles a works canteen, Meals poor- chicken fish and pasta daily. You are not allowed to bring your own refreshments into the site, but there is no shop to purchase any refreshments either.
Reception staff not helpful, rude and un friendly.
On the plus side the staff in the 'restaurant' and poolside are very freindly.

Reception rude & very unfriendly. Reception it's self is like a old cab office. Restaurant like a road side cafe. Rooms & hotel old & tried. Hotel staff friendly. My door don't lock. I wanted to go home as soon as I got here.

I recently stayed at the Viking resort and had a great time. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help and the rooms were a great size and perfectly comfortable. Only 1 of the bars was open, but that was no problem as we were still served quickly and efficiently. The food was edible but not fantastic, but that really was a minor issue for one weeks stay. Overrall a great holiday resort and I would go back in a heartbeat.
