“Buitiful Hotel”

Its location is the most important USP of the hotel. You walk out of the hotel, cross the small road and bang you are on the Naama Bay street- the MOST HAPPENING street in Sharm El Sheikh!!! the rooms are so so spacious. the staff is polite. They could improve on the food though. however there are options galore for restaurants right on the street so your definitely wont go hungry. The best part about the hotel is that it is next to Buddha Bar...i wouldn't ask for anything more :)

“good but could be better”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 February 2011

We decided on this hotel for its location, which is excellent. The check in process was quick and from first looks the hotel was nice. The room we had was spacious but it did need a good clean especially the bathroom. I cant understand why others say it was spotless as in my opinion it was not how clean a hotel should be.
However, when you got past this issue, the hotel staff were on the whole friendly and helpful. Especially Fatiha at the kids club, she was so nice.
The food was generally good not to keen on the breakfasts but overall good variety.
It had all the facilites of a 5 star hotel but not quite the standards.

“A great position in the very centre of Naama Bay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 February 2011

Tropitel is huge much bigger than first impressions, We stayed at first up on the cliff where the rooms are in small circular buildings with 6 to a building .This was great but the hike up the steps to the top nearly put us off straight away. The smaller dining room to serve these areas was good no queues and the food was good.We later moved down to the main building as the hotel was quiet because of the troubles in Cairo. Similar room, no complaints some rooms could be noisy when it is very busy. We found all staff great and beacause it was quiet the beach (a short walk away) was good, However when it is very busy this would be a nightmare with sunbeds all lined up in rows with no room in between, no room for kids to play. People who grumble about the newspaper seller should just accept that this is how he makes his money, of course he re-cycles the paper and someone may have done the crossword but eh, this is how he earns a living The animation team were very good and the games were funny and varied.
One complaint would be that there are no signs to tell you were the waterpark and other pools are also the Sunset bar is signed in the lift but no-where else. The map the hotel gives you is a bit rubbishy We were there 2 days before we new there was a bar on the roof!.Also there was no water provided in the room which to me was a big disappointment, you can buy in the hotel but cheaper at the minimarket a few doors down

“Dont think twice book it you'll love it”

It's the second time weve been to this hotel and it's just as good as we remembered it to be with what could sometimes be rose coloured glasses and we will be back next year.Where do i start firstly it's location is superb right in the centre of Naama Bay for walks about in the day or evening shopping etc and from my experience it's safer than walking about in some of England's town centres. The food is superb with at the moment a really approachable executive head chef Frank Schultze who you will see at each meal time in the restaurant ensuring all is up to his high standards and i would defy anyone to go hungry here. The rooms are spacious with nice ensuites comfy beds and are properly cleaned daily the staff will bend over backwards from the management team through to the pool guy to ensure you have a good holiday i would like to make particular reference to Sherif Magdy the front office manager and Zakaria on reception who were helpful to us above and beyond the call of duty. I know it's kind of expected to tip but here it's not essential to tip for everything you will still get good service in the restaurant and bars if you prefer to tip at the end of the holiday as we tend to do.Would i recommend this holiday to a friend i certainly would and have done and they have enjoyed it too we actually met one group who were back for the fifth time and were already planning their next visit. Oh yes i nearly forgot the weather is fabulous you dont have to worry if it's going to be a nice day cos they only get about three days rain a year.
