Tropitel is huge much bigger than first impressions, We stayed at first up on the cliff where the rooms are in small circular buildings with 6 to a building .This was great but the hike up the steps to the top nearly put us off straight away. The smaller dining room to serve these areas was good no queues and the food was good.We later moved down to the main building as the hotel was quiet because of the troubles in Cairo. Similar room, no complaints some rooms could be noisy when it is very busy. We found all staff great and beacause it was quiet the beach (a short walk away) was good, However when it is very busy this would be a nightmare with sunbeds all lined up in rows with no room in between, no room for kids to play. People who grumble about the newspaper seller should just accept that this is how he makes his money, of course he re-cycles the paper and someone may have done the crossword but eh, this is how he earns a living The animation team were very good and the games were funny and varied.
One complaint would be that there are no signs to tell you were the waterpark and other pools are also the Sunset bar is signed in the lift but no-where else. The map the hotel gives you is a bit rubbishy We were there 2 days before we new there was a bar on the roof!.Also there was no water provided in the room which to me was a big disappointment, you can buy in the hotel but cheaper at the minimarket a few doors down
