We stayed at the Tropitel for one week. Staff were absolutely fabulous, so helpful! All inclusive aspect was great, drink and food. Meal times had great variety and had at all times something to suit. Just to say a great thankyou to all the staff for making our holiday a memorable one. This hotel is very central to Namma Bay which provides good bars and restaurants, also just to mention the mexican next to the hotel, superb food.

Well, i just can't find many negatives at all about this hotel. it is amazing! stayed from dec 22nd 2011 - 29th so were there over Christmas. So many celebrations going on there, santa on a camel, bar staff with santa hats on & everyone wishing us merry christmas made it sooo special. impressive hotel with even more impressive staff. such a very friendly bunch who make your stay so lovely.
the buffet food is very good, something for everyone. they cater for all races including some English meals so very happy with that.
the pools are impressive, sparkling clean & heated in winter so like getting into a warm bath.
a couple of minor negatives - the beds are extremely hard, but you soon get used to that & the spirits were local & taste a bit strange!
the staff so friendly i wanted to pack a couple in my suitcase and bring them home .. Maleg (bullet) the bar man made our evenings very easy with quick service & always a smile & Mohamad the pool guy was our personal favorite .. he made our days very comfortable with towels laid out ready for us each day, such a lovely guy, he always had a friendly smile for us& also his friend ahmed was great too.
all in all, a much enjoyed stay (and i have stayed in the Luxor Hotel on the strip in Las Vegas, so i do have something to compare it with). already looking at prices for next year .. can't wait to go back. Thankyou Tropitel for a superb first experience of Sharm el Sheikh!

Nice Hotel right in the centre of Naama Bay, across the road from Hard Rock Cafe. The hotel is next to the lobby, but the 'resort' is at the back up a fair few stairs. We had a room in the 700s these look like mini mansions. There is 8 rooms to a mansionette, and right next to the sunrise pool which was for the most part quiet with a few kids (under 10s) the smaller of the two restaurants which was located in the 900 block 20 yards away. AI food tends to be very samey but food is cooked well. Rooms were a decent size cleaned everyday and beds made but the beds were rock hard. This is really my only gripe. The beach area is very small for the size of the hotel. so in busier times I would get there early. If you like seafood, then go to the old market, a restaurant called FARES it is half the price of seafood in Naama Bay. Lobster is lush. 25degrees daily over xmas.

We stayed for the first week in December and was initially put in block 800 rooms which if you want peace and quiet is great but the long haul home each night just wasnt for us. We moved to the main building room 321, yes it was a little noisy but it didn't really bother us. The decor is a little tired and the bathrooms are in need of a refurb but it was kept lovely and clean by the housekeeping staff.
