We stayed here 5th Feb to 12th feb, check in was swift and efficient, a porter took us to our room. First problem we asked for a double bed but got 2 singles, we joined them together and the cleaner left them like that until we left.
The room itself had a good layout but a bit dated, the bathroom is a good size but in desperate need of renovation. Thedining hall was absolute chaos, if you are British and do the polite thing and wait in a queue then dont you will never get fed, you have to grow bigger elbows than the Russians and the Egyptians, you can spot them they are the ones with all the food on their plates. I dont think the dining hall is big enough for the resort. The weather was a bit iffy when we were there cant blame anyone for that!!!!!! We walked on the pontoons over the Coral the fish are amazing, i also done some snorkelling off the pontoons again amazing!!!!! We done the glass bottom boat with Sharmania who operate on the beach. We paid £15 each for the glass bottom boat Thomas Cook wanted £40 each for the same thing. We did not take any Egyptian money with us, we changed it in a cash machine in Soho Square and got a rate of 9.1 Egytian pounds to a £ which was far better than the 7.77 we were offered in this country. All in all it wasnt a bad stay the staff do their best to help you and if the language is a problem go to guest services because they have British girls on there.
