I would not recommend this hotel, its very shabby We had four rooms during our stay all were shabby, dirty the hotel overall is not the best make sure you take your holiday brochure so you know how to make a complaint. We booked with Olympic holidays I would never book with them again. We did meet some lovely people during our stay but everyone staying at the hotel said they would not go back to the hotel, I would go back to egypt as it is a great country. The best thing I can say about the Hotel is that the location is good.

the hotel as it stands at present is very shabby and dirty in alot of places although the new management are trying very hard to make it better. our room was cleaned regularly but others weren't. the beach is not close by as led to believe and many people thought they were booked into wrong place as hotel across the road called royal grand sharm and was 5 star. My only real compaint was the food which apart from breakfast was cold and there was nowhere to sit and chill in the evening without loud crap musicblaring.

me and my partner stayed here for 1 week last may .when we arrived we was with greeted with freindly faces .and they were very helpfull shown to our room .didnt no what to expect with this being our first trip to egypt room was ok .what lovely staff we met they bent over backwards for us .so as we thought .BEWERE.mark my words we will never go back to this place again . while we were there me and my partner had a visit to the shopping mall ill mercerto where we bought sum gifts for each other he bought me a gold neffiti and i treated him to a gold bracelet all in all costing about 2000egps. on our last day we went for breckfast went back to pack .then went to chill till it was time to get ready to leave .only to find that sumone had been in our suitcase bin opened and things gone through .a chill run down my spine i knew the gold was gone and sum of my clothes we went mad the manager didt seem to care that sumone had robbed us so all i want to do is warn people not to trust anyone here especially the management .
been back to egypt again since in hurgada . its was just amazing and we are staying in sharm for xmas this year .just one last thing not all egyptian are the same .i no u can get a few bad apples but most are the nicest people i have ever met thats why we keep comeing back .

We have travelled far and wide and stayed in Egypt many times, this certainly wasn't the best hotel, but was good value for money, the location is great although not on the beach, a good choice of local and international cuisine/entertainment right on the doorstep.
Hotel was tired, basic but OK, the recent adjustment to a 3-star probably appropriate.
Cleaning staff in room 104 were poor, seeming to clean the rooms when they liked and to a variable standard we were told they were better elsewhere. We do believe that someone stole my daughters phone?! and as stated elsewhere, Wael, the manager, was uninterested to say the least.
Pools and pool bars were great, I always take a 1 pint hot cup, which negates the small glasses these places always supply!
Only 1 bar open in the evening, a real shame the pool bar doesn't stay open later, as this would be a really social place to sit under the stars, however this encourages you to go out and about.
Food was fine, there was always something to eat, with the pasta counter a great fall back.
Rooms had a separate bedroom, which was great, usually we have to share a single room between the 4 of us.
I'm sorry for Mark below, they were poorly advised by their friends and the rep, which wasn't the fault of the hotel, once your stress levels are up it's hard to come back down! Please be advised to GO ALL INCLUSIVE constantly putting your hand in your pocket (and it's not cheap) when others don't have to always adds to the stress, we tried to provide drinks, even gave a bracelet, but the bar staff are pretty astute!
Other guests paid 5* prices and were understandably disapointed, not fair to blame the hotel though.

We had a great time and for that money (look at: onthebeach.com / Hotels4u) would definitely return. Most guests were pretty happy, it's always the unhappy who post comments!
